What is the Yahoo!® Merchant Solutions Developer Network?
The Yahoo!® Merchant Solutions Developer Network is a group of professional web developers experienced at building e-commerce web sites on the Yahoo!® Merchant Solutions and Yahoo!® Store platform. As part of this exclusive network, we offer this directory as a service to customers who may wish to hire a web expert to design their new site, upgrade their existing site, design advanced site templates,
create specialized graphics, or handle complex technical requirements.
Who uses the Developer Directory?
New and current Yahoo!® Merchant Solutions and Yahoo!® Store customers use the Developer Directory to find, evaluate, and contact web experts to build or
enhance their online stores.
Do I have to pay for a listing?
No. Currently there is no general financial arrangement between Yahoo!® Merchant Solutions and the developers listed in our directory. If you
qualify for inclusion in the directory, you will be listed free of charge. In the future we may offer fee-based services, such as sponsored
listings with prominent placement. Inclusion and placement in this directory is at the sole discretion of Yahoo!®.
How do I qualify to be listed in the Developer Directory?
To be considered for inclusion in the Developer Directory, you must meet our Inclusion Guidelines (.pdf format). If you meet these guidelines, you are welcome to submit an application. Please be sure that you meet our guidelines before applying.
We will review your application and your company web site to insure compliance to our guidelines. In some cases, we
may also contact you with follow-up questions. Under normal circumstances, you will hear our decision within 30 days.
Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee your inclusion in the Developer Network. Inclusion and placement is at the sole discretion of Yahoo!®.
What information appears in a Developer Directory listing?
If you are approved for inclusion in the directory, your company name will appear within the Developer Directory.
Merchants will be able to click your company name to access your full directory listing: company name, contact information, web
address, company description and link to your Yahoo!® based portfolio. To qualify for a portfolio link, you must have a portfolio page dedicated specifically to Yahoo!® Store or Yahoo!® Merchant Solutions web sites.
